Organically grow the holistic world view of disruptive innovation via workplace diversity and empowerment.

Development and scale

Bring to the table win-win survival strategies to ensure proactive domination. At the end of the day, going forward, a new normal that has evolved from generation X is on the runway heading towards a streamlined cloud solution. User generated content in real-time will have multiple touchpoints for offshoring.

Testing and evaluation

Interactively supply resource sucking collaboration and idea-sharing for just in time action items. Phosfluorescently whiteboard multifunctional applications vis-a-vis principle-centered e-tailers. Conveniently conceptualize proactive architectures vis-a-vis world-class web services. Monotonectally administrate backend architectures.

Hinata Energy is a company born out of a passion for renewable energy development in Nigeria and Africa with a core business in the retail of affordable and safe biofuel and biofuel-powered cookstoves targeting communities that rely on polluting fuels for cooking thereby reducing threats to health and environment.

Our tagline, “A Better Life…” defines our value proposition to our target customers. To achieve this proposition, which is to guarantee low prices and consumer satisfaction, we will focus on creating quality biofuel formulation and efficient supply chain distribution of products from suppliers to consumers promptly

Mission

Hinata Energy is committed to meeting the needs of its customers irrespective of their income and social status by leveraging technology in reducing air pollution, deforestation and climate change by providing affordable, safe and sustainable energy

Vision

Our vision is to become one of the leading and profitable renewable energy companies in Africa, creating a safer, healthier, and sustainable environment one community at a time.

The Problem

Nigeria became the world’s poverty capital in 2018, and over 70 percent of the 90 million people living in extreme poverty reside in Northern Nigeria. Due to the failure in economic and social prosperity, access to affordable clean energy has become a significant challenge. According to the National Coordinator of the Nigerian Alliance for Clean Cookstoves, more than 120 million people cook over an open fire in Nigeria. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 93,000 die annually in Nigeria from respiratory and cardiovascular diseases due to prolonged use of polluting fuels for cooking such as kerosene and wood fuels. The impact of Nigeria’s energy problem has manifested in the destruction of the environment where 3% of its forests annually is lost partly because of the cutting of trees for firewood, and 51% of wood-fuel harvested is unsustainable.

The need to provide sustainable solutions to these challenges and reduce dependency on firewood, charcoal, and kerosene in Nigeria up to at least 10% by 2030 is the rationale behind our initiative

Our Solution

Hinata Energy’s retails affordable and safe biofuel-powered cookstoves and biofuel targeting households that rely on kerosene, wood fuels, and other open-fire methods of cooking in rural and peri-urban communities in Nigeria, thereby reducing deforestation, climate change and promoting the safest cooking solution. Our business targets accessibility, affordability, and safety, three gargantuan challenges our potential customers are facing.

Hinata Energy offers options where customers pay via installment through a third-party financial firm thereby making it easier to access our cookstove.

Our solution will also extend to breaking the primary barrier of accessibility by providing a useful distribution model. This, we plan to achieve by setting up sales points within 1 kilometer from end-users and partnering with neighborhood stores within 3 minutes of walking distance to end-users.
Safety is one of our prioritized propositions and the reason we are promoting the pressure-less canister technology. Our absorptive pressure-less fuel container is designed to hold the alcohol fuel safely out of harm’s way so that it cannot spill or leak out.
